GAS - It's magical! Demystify Google Apps Script (3-53)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We will get to know the basics of the ingenious Google Apps Script, see how we can connect to all apps through the API and start coding with some basic commands. All teachers and admin staff who are interested in getting started with scripts in the gSuite domain will benefit from this session. Other personalized app scripts will be touched upon but not covered in depth. There aren't any prerequisites.
Attendees will access Apps Script Panel and become aware of the permissions it needs to run. Attendees will write their own stand alone scripts and scripts connected to other gSuite apps and grasp the vast potential of this amazing tool.
Attendees will overcome their reservations and hesitation to look at GAS as a easy means for their individual ideas and needs in their classroom.
- attendees will be able to grasp the basics of GAS
- attendees will be able to set an auto-respond script connected to gmail
- attendees will be able to connect any GSuite document to a script
- attendees will be able to execute their own written basic scripts
- attendees will be able to explain the quota limits connected to GAS usage
